Educating Families To Empower Recoveries

Technically, it’s called “Family Psycho-Education and Support.” It’s a fairly clinical term for a very critical part of the recovery process. The truth is, families that are informed and involved are much better able to help their loved ones on the path to feeling healthier, living happier. Here are some of the ways we support your family:

  • Educating about mental illness
  • Increasing successful coping skills
  • Enhancing effective communication
  • Developing problem-solving skills
  • Partnering with other parents

We also offer Social Skills Groups to help with other important capabilities, from forming friendships to conducting conversations. In addition, we develop strategies to control emotions and understand the perspectives of family members and others.
